These A4 surname histories (origin and meaning) are provided as a downloadable product in the A4 size (297mm x 210mm or 11.75 x 8.25 inches). They are supplied against an aged ancient background and are supplied ready for printing and framing, or they can be used as a digital image.

Their standard sizes will allow them to be easily framed with ‘off the shelf’ ready-made picture frames, and are also available as a printed product.

These surname histories with the associated coat of arms (sometimes called a family crest) will normally include the following:

• The coat of arms most associated with the surname (unless otherwise stated).
• The coat of arms country of origin (if known) can be specified when ordering.
• The motto (if one exists) in its original language (i.e. Latin or French) with English translation.
• If a crest (the smaller image above the helmet) exists for the coat of arms this will be used instead of the generic feather plumes.
• The armory it was taken from (Burke’s General Armory or Rietstap’s Armorial General).
